If breakfast is the game you play, than you're going to want to make time for Arizona Breakfast Weekend. (It is, after all, the most important meal of the day.)

Between July 28 and 31, dozens of breakfast joints around the Valley will offer special menu items from triple berry French toast to smoked brisket hash to breakfast tacos and red velvet pancakes.

Hungry yet?

Each meal will cost either $7, $10 or $15 and at some restaurants that will include a drink (mimosa anyone?).

The event is put on by the Arizona Restaurant Association, which also puts on Arizona Restaurant Weekin the fall and spring, in an effort to get people into their neighborhood restaurants or to venture out and go somewhere new.

We scoured the menus and below are our picks for the top dishes.

Smoked Brisket Hash (First Watch)

Smoked beef brisket, potatoes, kale and house-roasted onions. It is then topped with two eggs, maple BBQ sauce and fresh herbs.

Triple Berry Deep-Fried French Toast (Original Breakfast House)

Red Velvet Pancakes (The Herb Box)

Served with mascarpone creme, Grand Marnier syrup and bacon.

Tres Locos (Alma wxsw)

Griddled cornbread, Andouille sausage, fried green tomato, poached egg and smoked chile hollandaise sauce.

Stacked Enchilada (The Market By Jennifer's)

Carne adovada, pinto beans, crispy corn tortilla, chicken eggs, creme, queso fresco, avocado, pickled shallot, lime and cilantro.

Bread dipped in vanilla cinnamon batter, grilled and topped with berries and powdered sugar. Served with two eggs and choice of side.
