Quite a few places around the Valley are hosting DJs, pool parties and dance parties. Here's a roundup of nine parties you may want to check out.

IndepenDANCE Party at Cobra Arcade Bar (July 1)

Put on your red, white and blue and head to downtown Phoenix and chill with Rio Earp and DJ Fashen. Plus, you have 40 vintage arcade games to play.

Fourth of July American Hip Hop/R&B Battle: East Coast vs West Coast (July 1 & 2)

DJ Slick 76 and DJ Melo take you through the Hip Hop and R&B hits of the 1990s and 2000s.

Wasted Grain has a few acts lined up over the Fourth of July weekend. On July 2, they'll host Ebinezer and For The Love for their Independence Day soiree.

Salt River Tubing: Firecracker Bucks (July 2-4)

Float down the Salt River and relax on the Fourth of July weekend. The Salt River will be hosting its "bag it for bucks" campaign which encourages floaters to store their trash in specialty bags in an effort to keep the river clean. Those that do will receive a $7 rental discount for their next float. On July 4, the first 1,000 people will receive leis.

Celebrate the Fourth of July at the W Scottsdale. You can swim, dance and listen to music all day and all night. The party starts at noon with DJs and goes until 2 a.m. Jessica Who, Saint Clair and Sam Pace perform.
