If you're looking for a new place to eat lunch or dinner, there's a few restaurants that have recently opened up around the Valley.

Each week we showcase some of those new openings.

Scroll down to see this week's selections. Know of a new restaurant that's opened up? Send me an email or tweet me, @JoshFrigerio. If you check out a new place, let us know what you thought in the comments below.

BLAZE FAST-FIRE’D PIZZA (TEMPE)

Blaze Pizza is another fast design-your-own pizza concept that has been rising in the Valley lately. It opened its first location in Tempe on April 14 near Arizona State University’s campus. Guests can choose an array of toppings (meats, vegetables, cheeses) and sauce and it will be cooked in an oven in 180 seconds. The chain plans to open four more locations in Tucson, Phoenix, Avondale and Glendale.

It’s a fast-casual create-your-own salad and wrap concept for those who are looking for a healthy option, but don’t have a lot of time. You choose your lettuce, toppings (apples, croutons, grapes, egg, onion, peppers etc), proteins (chicken, tofu, bacon) and dressing. It can be a salad or a wrap.

THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN BAKERY (OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE)

Located on Main Street, just east of Scottsdale Road, a new bakery is bringing authentic Australian flavors to Scottsdale. The Great Australian Bakery serves meat pies (steak, cheese and bacon, chicken Mornay), pastries, sausage rolls (cheese & bacon, spinach and Feta, Quiche) often found in the land down under. They will also serve vegetarian options.
