TEMPE, AZ — We knew the Innings Festival was returning to downtown Tempe for its third year, and now we know when.
The baseball-themed music festival will take over Tempe Beach Park for two days next year, February 29 and March 1, 2020.
That means it will not overlap with the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, also known as M3F Festival, like it did earlier this year and left some festival-goers upset. The M3F Festival is scheduled for March 6-8, 2020 at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix.
Mark your calendars, the worlds of baseball and music will come together once again in Arizona's Tempe Beach and Tempe Arts Park, Feb 29 – Mar 1, 2020, at #InningsFest! No other information about the 2020 festival, such as the music lineup and ticket information, was announced. Those details are traditionally revealed in the fall, a spokesperson said.
Some 25,000 people attended this year's festival, which was headlined by Incubus, Eddie Vedder, Sheryl Crow and Jimmy Eat World.
In 2018, the festival's inaugural year, it spanned three days and was headlined by Queens of Stone Age, The Avett Brothers, and Chris Stapleton.
The festival is produced by C3 Presents, who puts on Chicago's popular "Lollapalooza" festival and "Austin City Limits" in Austin, Texas
