2019 Phoenix Concerts: Five concert announcements you may have missed

PHOENIX — Soon enough, but hopefully not too soon, summer temperatures will begin to scorch the Valley. That just so happens to be the time that many artists bring their tours to the Valley of the Sun.

Here is a quick look at some of the concert announcements you may have missed in recent weeks.

John Mayer - Summer Tour 2019

John Mayer will bring his summer tour to Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public at noon local time on Friday, Feb. 1. They will be sold via Ticketmaster.com. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Jan. 29 until 10 p.m. on Jan. 31.

Third Eye Blind and Jimmy Eat World - Summer Gods Tour

Third Eye Blind and Jimmy Eat World will co-headline the "Summer Gods Tour" and visit the Valley of the Sun on July 31, 2019, one of 30 stops on the tour. The concert will be held at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 via www.LiveNation.com. Verified Fan Presale tickets start Jan. 30, though you do need to register before 10 p.m. on Jan. 28. Citi card holders can purchase tickets beginning at noon on Jan. 30.

Dave Matthews Band - North American Summer Tour

Less than a month after wrapping up their fall tour, the Dave Matthews Band announced they will hit the road this summer. Their North American tour will visit Phoenix's Ak-Chin Pavilion on September 13, 2019. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Feb. 22. Members of the bands fan group were able to start buying tickets on Jan. 24. Each ticket can be redeemed for an unreleased live recording from their 2018 tour.

Country MegaTicket - Ak-Chin Pavilion

Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Chris Young and Florida Georgia Line will headline this year's Country MegaTicket at Ak-Chin Pavilion. One ticket will get fans into all five concerts. If you purchase reserved seats, you get the same seat for every concert. Lawn seats are also available. Tickets went on sale on Friday, Jan. 25 and range between $149-$675. Brad Paisley will perform May 31; Luke Bryan on June 13; Rascal Flatts on August 3; Chris Young on August 16; and Florida Georgia Line on September 19. Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band - 30th Anniversary Tour

The former Beatles drummer is bringing his tour to Celebrity Theatre on August 26, 2019. He will be joined by Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and All Starr alum Hamish Stuart. Reserved tickets go on sale February 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. via CelebrityTheatre.com.
