Editor's note: This article has been updated to include more concert announcements from the Arizona State Fair.
With more than 100 days to go, the Arizona State Fair has started announcing the artists and shows that will be part of this year's concert series.
So far, seven acts have been announced. More artists will be revealed throughout the summer, the state fair said on its Facebook and Twitter pages.

- Oct. 5 - Gary Allan
- Oct. 6 - The Flaming Lips
- Oct. 10 - 38 Special
- Oct. 11 - The Wallflowers
- Oct. 12 - Fiesta Friday: MC Magic, Baby Bash, Lil Rob and Brown
- Oct. 27 - Pitbull
- Oct. 18 - Anthrax
- Oct. 19 - Paulina Rubio
- Oct. 20 - Big & Rich
- Oct. 24 - Casting Crowns
- Oct. 25 - Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats
- Oct. 27 & 28 - "Sesame Street Live! C is for Celebration"
38 Special is a southern rock band that got its start in 1976. Their hits include "Hold On Loosely,” “Rockin’ Into the Night,” and “Caught Up in You.”
The Wallflowers are an American rock band led by Jakob Dylan, the son of music icon, Bob Dylan. Their songs include "One Headlight" and "6th Avenue Heartache."
Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster are throwing a party in "Sesame Street Live," and the neighborhood is invited.
All of the concerts and shows are included with fair admission. However, separate reserved seating can be purchased for guaranteed or close seats. Some concert packages also include that day's fair admission.
The 2018 Arizona State Fair will run for 18 days -- Oct. 5-28 -- at the Arizona State Fairgrounds near 19th Avenue and McDowell Road.
