Remaining tickets to see the Tony Award-winning musical, Hamilton, at ASU Gammage will go on sale on Monday, Dec. 11.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program which attempts to curb scalpers and computer bots from purchasing mass tickets.

Those wanting tickets will have to create a Ticketmaster account and register for the Verified Fan program by Dec. 7 by 11:59 p.m.

Ticketmaster will then verify the account and send an email or text message to a "randomly selected" number of people on Sunday, Dec. 10 (the day before tickets go on sale) with an access code to purchase tickets, according to a news release.

Tickets will then open at 9 a.m. the next day.

Registering with Ticketmaster nor receiving an access code guarantees tickets, the release said. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and range between $79.50 - $189.50 each.

Some premium seats for $480.50 will also be sold, the release said.

ASU Gammage declined to say how many tickets would be available but added that a "very limited number" of tickets would be sold at the box office on Dec. 11 starting at noon.

"Hamilton" will be in Tempe for four weeks, Jan. 30 - Feb. 25, 2018.

The theater also teased that it would hold a lottery for forty $10 orchestra-level seats for each performance. More details on that will be announced closer to the show's run, the theater said.

Season subscriptions sold-out in less than two hours in May -- a first in ASU Gammage's history -- that was likely attributed to Hamilton being on the roster.
