America will be able to make its first vote toward the next American Idol winner during Sunday's American Music Awards show.

That's because judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie are giving a few American Idol hopefuls who didn't make the cut the first time a second chance at making it to Hollywood.

During the AMAs, the singers' audition videos will air and America will then have to vote for the person they think should go on to the next round at www.AmericanIdol.com/vote.

The person who receives the most votes will move on to the next phase of the competition. Richie will make that announcement the following day, Monday, Nov. 20, on "Dancing With The Stars," ABC announced.

Longtime host Ryan Seacrest will return to host the singing competition reboot, which will premiere on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

The American Music Awards air Sunday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. on ABC15.
