Apologies Castle and Nashville fans, both shows have been nixed from ABC's programming.
Recently it was announced that Stana Katic, who plays Kate Beckett on Castle, would not return for the series' now-dead ninth season.
The executive producers reportedly told Entertainment Weekly that they did film a scene that would wrap up the series if the decision to cancel was ultimately made. So, some good news could be that the show will not end on a cliffhanger.
Nashville's cancelation may come as more of a shock. In fact, EW called it a "surprise move."
The series followed the drama-filled lives of Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) along with their romantic lovers and friends. Nashville will now end after four seasons.
