Not that it could even be possible, but if you thought the organizers behind the Billboard Music Awards would forget about Prince, you can rest easy.

Billboard and Dick Clark Productions announced Tuesday that Madonna would perform a tribute to the late legendary singer at the award show.

Specific details on the performance and if any other artists will be a part of the tribute were not released. Nonetheless, it will certainly be a highlight of the night.

Prince died April 21 at his home in Minnesota. He was found unresponsive in an elevator and pronounced dead shortly after paramedics arrived.

Prince received the Icon Award at the 2013 awards and instead of a speech he performed "Let's Go Crazy" and
FixUrLifeU."

Britney Spears, who will receive the Millennium Award, will also perform a medley of her top hits. Other performances include a collaboration between Nick Jonas and Tove Lo; Demi Lovato, DNCE, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes and P!nk.

The BBMAs will be held May 22 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and aired on ABC15. Our coverage starts at 7 p.m. The show will be hosted by Ludacris and Ciara.
