Target Corp. appears be gaining confidence in its delivery prowess, announcing that it's letting customers access its same-day Shipt service directly through Target.com.
The Minneapolis-based retailer announced the move June 13 on its corporate blog, A Bullseye View, following a test of the Shipt integration in several markets.
Shipt offers same-day delivery for groceries and other items, using its own team of shoppers to pull orders from Target stores and deliver them to customers.
Target bought the Birmingham, Ala.-based company (which also delivers for chains like CVS and Kowalski’s) in late 2017 for $550 million.
