PHOENIX — A 10-year-old has been hospitalized after being pulled from a family pool Saturday, according to Phoenix fire officials.
Crews were called to the area of 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road for reports of a submersion.
First responders learned the child was underwater for a brief period of time, but was responsive and breathing on their own.
The child was treated and evaluated on the scene before being transported to the hospital in stable condition for further evaluation.
