Silent Witness is asking for the public's help in locating a man who tried to stab someone with a knife before making off with beer from a Circle K in Laveen.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 14 a white man described as 25-30 years old entered the Circle K near Baseline Road and 35th Avenue.

Officials say the man was carrying a black bag and was armed with a folding knife.

The suspect then began to act erratically in the beer cooler as he was yelling, shadow boxing, and pacing.

Silent Witness said the man then used his knife to open cases of beer and then placed several cans inside his bag.

After the suspect left the beer cooler, he tried to stab the person who confronted him about his theft.

He then fled on foot on Baseline Road.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and having a shaved head with some brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a Carson Palmer Arizona Cardinals t-shirt with khaki shorts and grey shoes.

If you have any information on this man's identity or this incident you are asked to call 480-WITNESS.
