A man accused in the death of a Glendale teenager over the sale of a video game console has pleaded not guilty.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say 19-year-old Aaron Ott entered his plea at his arraignment Thursday.

Ott, of Avondale, has been indicted by county grand jury on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery in the killing of 16-year-old Miguel Navarro.

Police and paramedics were called to a residence about a shooting on April 17.

Navarro was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A witness told police a single shooter fled on foot before driving away in a car that was identified by multiple surveillance cameras. That eventually led authorities to Ott, who was arrested April 20.

Police say Navarro apparently was shot when he refused to give up the Xbox.
