Glendale Police made an arrest in the fatal shooting at a Walgreens' parking lot near 51st avenue and Northern on Dec. 23.

Court documents said that 18-year-old Koreal D'shawn Lindsey was arrested Dec. 29 for shooting and killing 18-year-old Nathan Edgar Cabadas over an $80 drug transaction.

Police say that after contacting each other on social media, Cabadas met Lindsey and another man at the Walgreens to make the deal. There was an argument over the possible sale of a handgun that Cabadas had on him, and Cabadas tried to run away from Lindsey before being shot in the neck near the driver's side door of his SUV.

Glendale caught up with Lindsey six days later and arrested him.

Lindsey is being held on a $500,000 bond on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery.
