A Tempe massage therapist has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and 10 years of supervised probation for attempted sexual abuse.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say Gabriel Lopez was sentenced Friday.

He pleaded guilty last year to one count of attempted sexual abuse.

A woman contacted Tempe police and filed a claim with the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy after visiting the Tempe Massage Envy in 2014.

Judge Rosa Mroz told the 39-year-old Lopez that his actions were undeniable because of DNA evidence found on the victim's body.
