Silent Witness is asking for the public's help in identifying a pair of suspects who allegedly stole from a south Phoenix store and pushed a clerk.

Authorities say on May 17 just before 2 p.m. a man and woman entered the Central Mart store near Central and Southern avenues.

The woman tried to take clothing from the store and was then confronted by an employee. The man then pushed the employee, according to Silent Witness.

As the pair was trying to leave, customers started to follow them which prompted the man to lift up his shirt to display what witnesses believed to be a weapon.

The customers stopped following as the suspects fled the area in a white ford SUV.

Silent Witness said the male suspect is described as 20-30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. He has dark hair and was last seen wearing a white shirt and sunglasses.

The female suspect is described as 20-30 years old, having long dark hair with tattoos on her arm.

If you have any information on the identity of these individuals you are asked to call 480-WITNESS, you can remain anonymous.
