A man is dead after a fire broke out at a mobile home in north Phoenix Thursday afternoon.
The Phoenix Fire Department was called to the area of 14th Street and Bell Road after receiving reports of a blaze at a mobile home.
According to a Phoenix Fire spokesperson, a man, who appears to have been in his 50s, was found dead inside the home.
The structure collapsed after sustaining significant damage from the fire, a fire spokesperson said. The mobile home is a complete loss.
Neighbors told authorities that the man suffered from health issues and lived at the home by himself.
No additional information was immediately available and an investigation is ongoing at this time.
