A woman was found dead near a roadway in Phoenix after being shot, police said.
On Tuesday around 4:40 a.m., police were conducting a welfare check near 32nd Street and Van Buren Street after neighbors heard gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival, police found a woman between the ages of 25 and 25 who was dead and near the roadway.
Police don't have suspect information and are trying to identify the woman.
