Several police agencies around the Valley will be stepping up patrols in search of impaired drivers as Phoenix plays host to the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction and the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

These are two big events that draw people not only from Arizona, but across the country.

The DUI Task Forces begin on Wednesday, Jan. 27 and last through Feb. 6.

During the Phoenix Open, officers will kick-off their "Know Your Limit" program at the end of each day, where they will provide intoxicated persons with an approximate Breath Alcohol Reading as well as let them know the penalties should they decide to get behind the wheel. Those will begin Feb. 3 and go through Feb. 6.

Scottsdale, Chandler, Phoenix, Gilbert, Tempe, Department of Public Safety and Maricopa County Sheriff's Office will all be involved in the patrols.
