The College Football National Championship is one of the most high profile events in the country right now.

Police see the potential for danger in those huge crowds so at the Fan Fest in downtown Phoenix they've bumped up security more than the Super Bowl.

At least 300 officers are roaming, some are undercover, and some are escorting bomb sniffing dogs at the light rail stops.

FBI agents are also walking around with radiation sensors that are so sensitive even a recent chemotherapy treatment can set them off.

The Band Perry headlined the free concert series at the AT&T Playlist Live stage Friday night and the show was capped off with fireworks.

The concert area is free to get into but you can expect to have your bags checked at the gate.

There's a long list of items you can't bring inside though purses and strollers are allowed
