Hope For Hollis: Valley family asking for prayers after son diagnosed with rare cancer

A Valley family is asking for prayers after their 7-year-old son is diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer.

Hollis Doherty has DIPG, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a disease with no known cure.

Support is pouring in from around the world, even as the family desperately tries to explore all treatment options.

Sports celebrities are reaching out, including Arizona Cardnals stars Larry Fitzgerald and Carson Palmer, golfers Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson, and Hall of Famer John Elway.

Many using the green “H” with heart around it – the “Hope for Hollis” symbol – to show their support.

But first and foremost, the family is asking everyone to pray for a miracle for their son.
