Ready for another presidential pit stop in the Valley?

Donald Trump's campaign organizers are scouting for locations to hold a Wednesday event in Phoenix.

Cynthia Weaver with the City of Phoenix confirms the Phoenix Convention Center has been contacted by Trump staffers to show organizers available space for the Valley visit.

“I'm going to try to go [to the rally], depending on if I could get some time off work,” said Steve Hatch, as he was watching the Arizona Cardinals Thursday.

“He tells it the way it is, he’s not afraid,” said fellow Trump supporter Rob Fighera.

The campaign is reportedly considering other venues as well and has not officially contracted with the Convention Center as of Thursday afternoon.

The potential Wednesday would follow the Tuesday Republican debate in Las Vegas.

The visit would mark Trump's second stop in Phoenix in recent months . He brought his campaign to the Phoenix Convention Center in July, drawing a crowd of thousands, including both supporters and protesters.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton spoke out about Trump's potential return, saying, "I hope that Donald Trump does not bring his hateful message of division and intolerance back to Phoenix. He has a First Amendment right to spew vile rhetoric, but his brand of increasingly overt racism is in complete contrast to our values as a city."

Phoenix resident Mohamed El-Sharkawy said he would not go to a Trump rally, but he would welcome Trump into his home.  El-Sharkawy, a Muslim, said Trump’s comments this week calling for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. are “pathetic.”

"I would like to invite him to come here to my house to sit down with him here so I can teach him one thing or two about what makes the United States a great country,” said El-Sharkawy.

Trump’s campaign has not yet announced a time for the potential rally.
