Phoenix fire officials say a bicyclist has died after being hit by a cement truck near a Loop 202 exit ramp early Friday morning.
Fire officials say the man in his forties was hit and dragged several feet by the car. Police say he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the cement truck reportedly stopped nearby.
The westbound Loop 202 exit ramp at 24th Street was closed for the investigation.
