Officials are investigating a deadly crash near Munds Park on Friday.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened before 4:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 17. Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash.
DPS says four people were killed in the crash and a fifth person was taken to a Flagstaff hospital.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says northbound lanes of I-17 were shut down at milepost 320, two miles south of Munds Park. A large back-up remained as of noon Friday.
