Authorities say a woman is in custody after a shooting sent the woman's boyfriend to the hospital Saturday night.

Police responded to a home near Scottsdale and Happy Valley roads around 8:30 p.m.

Police said a man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and officers had Delia Mary Flores, 53, in custody.

There were no other suspects sought in connection to the shooting, according to Sgt. Ben Hoster.

The woman will be facing attempted 1st degree murder charges.

Police are still investigating.
