A Glendale computer engineer has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for possessing thousands of images of child pornography.

Court records show that police found 10 DVDs in the home of 57-year-old Lester Raymond Gallagher containing more than 230,000 images of child pornography; some may be nearly 20 years old.

Police report that back in March 2016, they received a tip saying someone had uploaded images of child pornography to the cloud. Authorities were given the cell phone number associated with the cloud account. That number came back to a Glendale resident.

In April of that year, police executed a search warrant on the home of computer engineer Gallagher. Inside the home, they found all kinds of computer hardware, but of the 150 DVDs and CDs they found, 10 of them had images of child pornography.

Court paperwork filed on August 17 shows Gallagher has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for each of ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Gallagher is credited with 436 days of presentence incarceration.
