WalletHub released its 2016 Best Gift Cards report. It compared the 50 most popular cards across five categories: card popularity, average discount, average resale value, retailer appeal and shipping fees.
The card which scored highest in the study overall? Target. It also ranked sixth in the most popular category. Amazon was ranked the most popular. Amazon, Netflix, Wal-Mart and Best Buy round out the overall top five best cards.
