MOST ACCURATE FORECAST: Winter blast this week

PHOENIX - We'll see mostly sunny skies as highs climb into the low 60s across the Valley.

Then, our next winter storm is set to move into Arizona late tonight and Friday.

Winds will pick up across northern Arizona today and stay windy throughout the day Friday. Expect winds in the 15-25mph range with gusts up to 45mph at times.

Here in the Valley, winds will crank up Friday as the cold front races through. Expect gusts near 30 mph and a chance of spotty showers Friday.

We're also tracking the chance for more snow in the high country, with the snow level down to 3,000 feet by Friday. Flagstaff could pick up between 2-4" of fresh snow with places like Sedona and Prescott also seeing an inch or two before we dry things back out again over the weekend.

We'll  gradually warm up through the weekend with highs back into the mid to upper 60s by Sunday and Monday.
