LaVar Ball once again found a way to get the sports world talking about him and his son when his company Big Baller Brand introduced a $495 pair of shoes on Thursday.

The "ZO2 Prime," the new official sneaker of likely NBA lottery pick Lonzo Ball, has taken the country by storm -- but not necessarily in a good way. Shaquille O'Neal, who has reportedly sold over 120 million pairs of sneakers, blasted LaVar Ball on Twitter moments after the sneaker's debut, although ESPN's Darren Rovell defended the cost of the shoe.

During Sunday night's "In the Ring" segment on ABC15, Jason Snavely asked Cardinals receiver and sneakerhead Brittan Golden whether he would buy the ZO2 Prime.

"Not a chance. They don't even look good to me," Golden said. "I mean, you can get retro Jordans for less than that. And we're talking about the greatest of all time."

Golden is correct: Retro Air Jordan sneakers are going for $110 to $190 on a number of web sites.

At least one former NFL player, however, has already purchased a pair of ZO2 Primes.

So, how much does Golden think he would charge if he released his own brand of shoes, which Snavely suggested he could call "Great Brittans?"

"They'd probably go for about 15 bucks," he joked.
