This might be hard for Arizona Wildcats fans to believe, but their head football coach has not gotten in on the Pokémon Go craze -- and it doesn't seem like he intends to do so, anytime soon.

During Thursday's Pac-12 Media Day session, UA coach Rich Rodriguez expressed the same concern others have about the app: people not watching where they're going while playing.

"I had no idea what the hell Pokémon Go was until the other day ... I know there's a lot of people walking around like this and bumping into each other," RichRod said as he held a pretend phone in his hands.

Rodriguez said he learned about the game from his 18-year-old son Rhett, a high school quarterback who has committed to play for his father at UA.

But RichRod has one simple request for Pokémon fanatics.

"Keep your eyes on the road and where you're walkin', all right?" he said.

That's good advice, especially for those members of the UA football team who are aspiring Pokémon masters.
