This week, we're heading to the race track to catch up with a young man who finished the 2015 season with seven 1st place finishes and 10 top-three finishes!
"My name is Levi Landis, I am 6 years old. I like to race."
Boy does he! You might say, Levi was born to race! All you have to do is ask him what he loves most about the competition with the other drivers.
"I just like beating them..."
But Levi, what it the other drivers are older than you?
"Sometimes, they're like 12 years old and they're still littler than me so I'm like, ok, I'm not scared of you."
And believe me, he's not afraid of anyone out there!
And it's that need for speed that keeps him coming back.
"When I get in the car it seems like I'm going really slow instead of really fast, but I'm actually going really fast."
But is it dangerous?
"I know you guys think it's dangerous, but I, sometimes I don't think it's dangerous. Like my mom thinks it's dangerous."
So how do you deal with the fact that your mom thinks it's dangerous?
"Ehh, oh just don't listen to her."
Oops! When we pressed Levi on what makes a good driver, he was very clear and very precise.
"Being smooth, don't have a mistake. Don’t ruin the car. If you think there's space go in there. Don't force yourself."
Sounds like good dating advice too!
