On the heels of an Aug. 30 primary, new voter registration numbers show growth among the political parties.
According to voter registration data released by the Secretary of State's Office Monday, there are 1,185,023 registered Republicans, 1,019,050 registered Democrats and 1,164,373 registered voters with no party affiliation.
“These numbers seem to indicate voters are re-engaging with the political parties for this election cycle,” said Secretary of State Michele Reagan.
