Dear Arizona, we have an STD problem.

The CDC recently released their 2015 "surveillance" report on sexually transmitted diseases across the nation and their rankings showed that The Grand Canyon State is doing pretty poorly in terms of syphilis cases.

These designations, which were ranked by rate, then by case count, places Arizona as eighth in the nation for syphilis.

Arizona fell more towards the middle of the rankings for chlamydia, ranking 18th with over 32,000 cases reported.

While the state's cases for gonorrhea are significantly lower in comparison to chlamydia, Arizona still ranks 20th in the nation.
