We took some notes from Austin Powers' Dr. Evil character and tested out a "laser"! It's called Lazer Bond USA!
The claim is that this device can repair anything in just three seconds!
The infomercial shows that things break all the time, and even the repair process can be complicated and messy.
We have to agree that breaking a necklace, flip flop, plate or whatever can definitely be a hassle. The Lazer Bond company claims that the liquid plastic can fix, fill, fasten and seal. The liquid only hardens with the UV light on the other end of the product that looks like a pen.
So, in theory, you can apply this liquid to metal, wood, plumbing leaks, virtually anything, and in three seconds, it will be magically fixed!
We tested out my broken necklace, broken sunglasses and broken mug handle. We followed the instructions carefully. The Lazer Bond fixed the necklace and mug almost seamlessly, but the sunglasses didn't completely hold. However, I could still wear the sunglasses.
On our "Bull or No Bull" meter, this ranks NO BULL! Pleasantly and surprisingly, it works! Another perk is that it's compact, so you can carry it around with you!
We found one at Bed Bath & Beyond for about $10, but you can find them cheaper for about $6 at Walmart and other stores.
