We are about two weeks away from Labor Day, and now is about the time when stores will start to offer major discounts!

According to DealNews, some retailers will be offering up to 90 percent off for Labor Day and even beyond! Last year, 75 percent of sales stretched into Labor Day week.

So, here's where you'll save!

DEALNEWS TIPS:

You'll score 20-80 percent off summer clothing! Stores are getting ready for fall and winter gear. Kohl's and Walmart had massive sales last year.

It's also a great time to get mattresses! Last year, you could get a king-sized mattress for the price of a queen at Mattress Firm.

Grills, patio furniture, appliances, travel, lodging and flights are all categories you should research because we are all expecting discounts! DealNews shared that Frontier Airlines tends to offer up to 90 percent off for Labor Day. Be careful though, and read the fine print for the restrictions, including travel dates.
