Unless you've been living under a rock, you know Hatchimals is the hot toy this Christmas season. So what's the hype?

They are furry animals that "hatch" from eggs. You don't know what interactive animal is inside until it's hatched. Then kids can play games and take care of their hi -tech hatchling.

So what will you pay for it if you can find one?

If you search in stores today, you'll see a price of about $60 each. But the price is all you will see because as soon as stores get them in is as soon as they sell out.

Even Santa is having a hard time getting his hands on them, such a hard time that he has a letter on the company's website letting kids know the eggs are still growing but he needs a little more time.

However, here's something that will excite parents. On Sunday, Target will be selling them for $59.99 with a limit of two per person. It's not a bad deal, considering you can pay hundreds of dollars online. Toys R Us stores are also expected to restock shelves on Sunday.

But, what is your time worth??

You can expect parents to stand in lines for hours to get those Hatchimals at Target and Toys R Us this weekend. And there's no guarantee that you will get one. And is it really be worth the hassle? Some parents who managed to get one are complaining that it was a waste of time and money. They say the Hatchimals has a few games that the kids get bored with after just a few days.
