Midwestern University Eye Institute has a free program called InfantSEE. Parents can have their infants' eyes checked at no cost. Students do the exams with supervision from faculty.

The eye institute is basically a "one-stop optometry shop." Exam prices vary depending on the patient's need, in some cases they are more affordable than a traditional optometrist.
