Gangplank offers free space to work on your business every day of the week

Whether you're in town for business, tired of working from home, or need an office space, check out Gangplank!

Gangplank offers free co-working space to anyone who drops by for the day or day-to-day use. They offer free WiFi, the opportunity to make some business connections and enjoy the power of collaboration, versus competition. You might just meet your next CEO or business partner.

Although the space is free, Gangplank does ask that regular visitors give back in some way. However, the way you give back is up to you. Some offer inside tips and tricks, while others give back to the community.

So what exactly does it look like when you walk in? There are several tables and chairs, air conditioning, restrooms and other working businesses. They do not provide printers or computers, so you'll have to bring your own. Also, it's not like a classroom where people enter a lecture hall and typically sit in the same seat, even though their name isn't written on that desk. Roam. Explore. Interact. Let the creative juices flow!

It's a unique environment, refreshing whether you're a start-up company or have been in business for 20 years.

Here's what the leaders of Gangplank had to say:

"We provide the infrastructure. A place to connect. A place to build authentic relationships. A place to learn and a place to teach. A place to share ideas, experience, and knowledge. What makes Gangplank unique is that we are run off social capital. This means that every member of our community contributes to make Gangplank what it is. We do not charge a monetary fee, but rather ask that you give back through time, talent, and relationships. Gangplankers give back both by engaging the person at the desk next to them and by engaging in their city."
