Sometimes trying to figure out what you want to make for dinner can be frustrating.
Well I found an app that will help you not only figure out how to make what you want, but it also tells you where to find your ingredients on sale.
You may have heard of allrecipes.com.
I love this app and site because it's so easy.
Simply type in what you want to make and tons of recipes will pop up from your peers.
What I like most is all of the recipes are rated and users even leave reviews with ideas of how to make the recipes even better.
Another feature... At the bottom of each recipe, the app shows you which of your ingredients are on sale and where.
So for example, I found this recipe for a mango, peach and pineapple salsa.
And right away, the app shows me that Fry's Food has pineapples and bell peppers on sale and Safeway has tomatoes and peppers on sale.
The app automatically looks for stores in your area, so you can choose to enter a zip code or let your GPS do the work.
You can also create your shopping list with the click of one button and as you buy items, you tap the item on your list and it crosses it out for you.
So it's a great way to make yummy meals simple and more affordable.
