The Tempe Police Department was investigating a suspicious package near Loop 202 and Priest Drive on Tuesday afternoon.
Police had restricted the roadways as they investigated. The westbound exit of Loop 202 at Priest Drive was closed down, but the roadways later reopened.
Police said the suspicious package was harmless. The package was determined to be a 2 foot long metal pipe.
