Phoenix and Tempe Fire Departments assisted Guadalupe fire on reports of a fully engulfed house Saturday evening.
Crews arrived around 10 p.m. to the home near Avenida del Yaqui and Calle Guadalupe.
According to Tempe fire, crews were able to get the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.
Officials on scene said the home was abandoned and the damage caused the house to be a total loss.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will be investigating the cause of the fire.
