A motorcyclist was seriously injured after they were struck by a car near Mill Avenue, just north of Southern Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
Tempe police said just before 4 p.m. officers responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and passenger car.
Authorities say the motorcycle was heading north on Mill Avenue when the passenger car in the southbound lanes turned left in front of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider suffered serious life-threatening injuries due to the crash.
Police said speed is believed to be a factor and the driver of the passenger car did not suffer any injuries.
