Police are looking to talk with those Good Samaritans who stopped to help two men hurt in a rollover crash Sunday evening in Tempe.

Two men, ages 19 and 20, remain hospitalized in critical condition after the vehicle they were in flipped over and rolled into a ravine, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Witnesses told DPS troopers that a gray 1997 Mitsubishi Montero hatchback with two men inside exited the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway at Priest Road shortly after 5 p.m. and rolled into a ravine.

There were about 20 people trying to help the two men when the responding troopers arrived on scene, said DPS. Once the investigation stage began, most of the people had left.

DPS is trying to determine who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash and would like to talk with any of the Good Samaritans to gather additional information.

DPS' Duty Office can be reached at 602-223-2212.
