One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed through two walls.
Mesa firefighters said a full-size pickup crashed through a block wall near Broadway and Stapley, and then crashed through a second wall.
Both walls were part of the perimeter of an apartment complex, and officials said the crash did heavy damage to the pickup.
One person was taken as an immediate transport to the hospital, though authorities did not immediately specify the extent of any injuries.
Investigators were still on the scene working to determine how the crash happened as of 8 p.m. Sunday.
