One of two dogs missing after a house fire at a foster home Friday has been located safe and sound.

On Sunday Ohana Animal Rescue says Scout was found and successfully brought back to the shelter on McClintock Drive in Tempe.

Two days before, a fire ignited at a home where more than a dozen dogs were inside. The homeowner, who has six dogs, was fostering another eight for the shelter.

Firefighters said at the time that three dogs died and two were unaccounted for after the fire had been extinguished.

The rescue created a missing poster for those dogs, later identified as Scout and Chloe.

The dog returned to the shelter was Scout. Chole, described as a friendly and senior tan-colored German Shepherd, was still missing as of Sunday night.

The rescue said it had received several reports of Chloe being spotted and teams were looking for her.
