Troubled Valley pharmaceutical firm Insys Therapeutics Inc. will lose its chief legal officer at the end of the month as it continues to navigate the bankruptcy process.
Mark Nance, chief legal officer and general counsel with Chandler-based Insys, tendered his resignation this month, according to a regulatory filing from the company.
Nance's resignation will be effective July 31.
Insys filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early June, only days after announcing a $225 million settlement with the federal government over cases related to the pharmaceutical manufacturer's activities efforts to boost sales of a highly addictive painkiller called Subsys.
