PHOENIX — A teen has been arrested and a man is dead after being struck by a car near 12th Street and Broadway Road early Sunday morning.
Phoenix police say officers responded to the scene at around 1:10 a.m.
The man was hit by a car traveling east on Broadway, and pronounced deceased on the scene, police say.
Officials believe speed is a factor in this collision.
The 17-year-old boy behind the wheel was arrested and booked on charges.
