PD: Man killed in stabbing near 51st Avenue and Bell Road, suspect in custody

PHOENIX — A man is dead following a stabbing in north Phoenix on Monday.

The incident occurred Monday near 51st Avenue and Bell Road in Phoenix around 11:15 a.m, according to Phoenix police officials.

Police said a man, 35-year-old Bryan Geasa, was stabbed by a known suspect and taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The suspect was taken into custody.

Officials believe the incident may have been a result of a dispute between roommates.

Police have yet to identify the suspect.
