Phoenix police have arrested a minor for his involvement in a shooting in Phoenix.

Officials announced on Thursday that a 16-year-old boy has been identified as the possible suspect in the shooting of 18-year-old Tayler Maggi.

On April 14, investigators say Maggi was driving near Central and Dunlap avenues on Thursday when the suspect approached with a pistol. Maggi started to drive away and the suspect fired at his car. Maggi lost control and crossed a median before hitting a tree and some bushes on the west side of Central Avenue.

Maggi is still in critical condition at the hospital.

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday afternoon. Due to his age, police are not releasing the suspect’s identity.
